- 1.The alternative politics is a social vehicle for social and environmental justice, which stands for a radical transformation of society for the benefit of all, and for the planet as a whole. The economic, social, political and environmental wellbeing are connected and cannot be achieved without solving the other.
- 2. Humankind depends on the diversity of the natural world for its existence. No species are expendable. The Earth’s physical resources are finite. We must secure the earth for our future generations.
- 3. We must build a sustainable society that guarantees our long-term future. We must take care of well-being of other nations and other species.
- 4. We believe in building a society which is cooperative, free from discrimination whether based on race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, religion, social origin or any other prejudice.
- 5. We are committed to protect structural democracy with emphasis on democratic participation at all level and a culture of democracy. We will ensure that decisions are taken at the closest practical level to those affected by them. Culture to challenge should start from school.
- 6. We are for a Government which is transparent, accountable and corruption free.
- 7. We look for non-violent solutions to conflict situations, which take into account the interests of minorities and future generations in order to achieve lasting settlements.
- 8. We believe in strengthening the federal system. The provinces should have more autonomy. Besides the politics should be federal where by state parties with similar agenda should form a federation at union level.
- 9. The success of a society should not be measured by narrow economic indicators, but should take account of factors affecting the quality of life for all people: personal freedom, social equity, health, happiness and human fulfillment.
- 10. Electoral politics is not the only way to achieve change in society, we should also pursue lifestyle changes, rational thinking, strengthening of the social and democratic institutions.
- 11. We are committed to make the justice system simple, accessible and faster. Communities can be a part of the justice system at the lowest level.
